Deleting all your data

You have the right to request complete deletion of all personal data Aamey holds about you. This goes beyond account deletion — it also covers any residual data in backups and logs, subject to legal retention requirements.

What gets deleted

• Your account, profile, and all preferences
• Beauty history and AI chat logs
• Biometric (face geometry) data — deleted within 24 hours, before any other data
• Residual copies in backups — purged within 90 days per our backup rotation schedule

What is retained

Certain records must be kept under applicable law:

• Financial transaction records (required by Canadian tax law for 7 years)
• Fraud prevention records where legally required

How to request full deletion

1. Go to Profile → Delete Account and complete account deletion, which initiates full data deletion.
2. Or email [email protected] with subject "Data Deletion Request" if you need to act without app access.
