How to use AR try-on

AR try-on lets you see exactly how a makeup product looks on your face before purchasing. It uses your device's front camera and on-device face geometry processing to overlay products in real time.

Getting started

1. Open any product page in the Aamey app.
2. Tap the Try On button.
3. Grant camera permission when prompted — this is required for AR try-on.
4. Position your face within the frame. The overlay will appear automatically.
5. Tap different shades or products to compare looks.

Tips for best results

• Use in even, natural lighting — avoid harsh overhead light or strong backlighting.
• Keep your face centered and within 50-70cm of the camera.
• Remove glasses before starting for more accurate overlay placement.

Face geometry data is processed entirely on your device and is not stored on Aamey servers unless you explicitly save a look. See deleting your face data for more information.
