Deleting your face data

Aamey takes biometric privacy seriously. Face geometry data captured during AR try-on sessions is processed on-device and, when saved, is stored in encrypted form with strict access controls. You can request full deletion at any time.

What is face data?

When you use AR try-on and save a look, Aamey stores a mathematical representation of your face geometry (not a photograph). This is used solely to power the AR overlay and is never used for advertising profiling or shared with third parties.

How to delete your face data

  1. Go to Profile → Privacy & Consent.
  2. Tap Delete Biometric Data.
  3. Confirm deletion.

Deletion is completed within 24 hours. You will receive an email confirmation. After deletion, AR try-on will work in session-only mode until you consent to saving again.

Aamey's AR try-on is compliant with BIPA. Due to BIPA's scope, the AR try-on feature is geo-blocked for users in Illinois, Texas, and Washington state. For more, see Biometric data and BIPA.
